Vilma Whittier

Vilma joined Genetic Alliance in 2018. In her role, she focuses on advocacy organizations and community support through Genetic Alliance’s programs. Before Genetic Alliance, Vilma worked with several advocacy organizations, providing program and logistical support for educational and healing programs, and resource development for the communities.

She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in public health at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, Gillings School of Global Public Health.

Vilma is passionate about fitness, nutrition and explores DC area parks, museums, and the foodie scene with her family on weekends.
